94 325i re-upholstering

I'm about to re-upholster all of the seats in my 94 325ic. I'm gonna go 2 tone, with a dark and a light beige to pretty much match the 2 beige colors the interior already uses. After I finish the seats I'll probably get going on the door liner leather. I've got a buddy that's pretty good with this stuff so he's gonna give me a hand. I'm not getting an upholstery kit, where you pretty much order it already cut and sewn and ready to put on, I am getting new vinyl faux leather, and doing it from scratch. He has a good sewing machine to use. Does anybody know how much needs to be ordered. It is ordered by the yard, and each yard is 54 inches wide. Has anyone ordered this before? After I make some progress I'll post up some pictures. It should look pretty cool when it's all done.

Should look good! Also consider some alecantra style fabric along the bolsters. I would figure 2 yards altogether per seat to be safe. The seat covers are held in by a series of tabs all along the edges of the seat, you can bend these up to remove the cover as one piece just like most other seats. I would take these out first an measure to make sure you get the right amount.
