Our good friends over at BMA Auto Parts in Glendale, CA told me recently about a new line of direct fit Braided Stainless Steel brake and clutch lines for our E36's. These handsome steel lines feature hardened steel fixtures, and are coated inside and out with Teflon to maximize flow. Additionally the exterior is covered in a layer of PVC plastic to protect the steel lines from road debris. This plastic sheathing is available in a variety of colors as well, allowing you to customize your break lines to match your E36's over color scheme. BMA's custom Stainless Steel Brake and Clutch Lines are D.O.T. approved to ensuring only the highest quality components are allowed onto your car.

BMA's Stainless Steel Brake and Clutch Lines are available with a clear plastic sheathing, showing off the braided steel lines underneath, as well as a variety of other color options including: black, blue, charcoal, red, smoke, green, and yellow.

This is probably a ridiculous question but why are there 6 brake lines?

Yes sir, i bought mine from BMA after i slid into a center divider trying to drift an automatic on corded tires.

It was $160 per arm about 3 years ago, im sure its over $200 each now. This was for a 95 M3 though.

Look at the rear brake lines on your car and you will see what im talking about. Our cars have two separate lines on each side of the rear brakes.

4 line kits are available for other BMW models as well for around $70.

Be sure to call BMA in person and mention E36-tech for further discounts to the prices listed.

Interesting. I'd never noticed.

This is a killer price though! 4 line kits for my Legend go for plenty more than these are selling for.

Those rear brake lines are notoriously hard to change first time around... i've done 4 BMW's (2 E36's and 2 E30's) and it still pisses me off how inconvenient the location of these hoses is.

You will need the 11mm flare nut wrench for the nut on the hard lines no matter what. I will check, though the hardware should be a 11 or 12mm fitting.
