Woo Hoo, First product review!

Category: Tires

Product Name: AZENIS RT-615

Size: 205/50R-15

Application: 1988 BMW 325iC (Extensive suspension mods)

Manufacturer: Falken Tires

Product image:

Purchased from: Discount Tire (Local Store)

Price: $111/per Tire | around $500 installed with warranty

Specs:
  • Treadwear: 200
  • Traction: A
  • Temperature: A
  • Speed Rating: Z

Pros: Amazing dry grip. Pretty much the closest thing you can find to R compounds for under 150 bucks (depending on application). Cool tread design. Grip grip grip.

Cons: Heat up quickly (could be due to my narrow width). Not exactly a great wet tire.

Recommend to friend: Hell yes, buddy of mine just bought em yesterday.

Why?: Ultimately they are the best tire you can buy for the price at this point. If you get them from discount tire you get the warranty and no matter how much I have scrubbed off my tires or destroyed them through autoX they still replace my tires if I get nails in them or anything. I love these tires and they were probably one of the best upgrades I did to my e30.

I concur. For the price, they really can't be beat.

Mine in 215/45/17 have a few hundred highway miles on them, and countless auto-cross runs and still have plenty of tread.

They do indeed heatup quickly, but if you can regulate the pressures just as quickly, you can keep the grip going strong!

Curious if you've ever run Falken 452's (basically their sport tire for luxury cars) which is what I run, and how you'd compare them?
