Passenger seat rocking chair!?

My passenger seat reclines and springs forward on its own. I replaced the striped white gear in the mechanism and I can now adjust the recline but it gets loose again. Seems like every time someone gets out or back in the seat will fall backwards or spring forward. Once seated, you can adjust it, but it doesn't seem to lock in place or remember were it was or something.

Is there another gear I need to replace? Something that locks the rails in place or something?

Something wasnt reassembled correctly, sound like the gears weren't mating up properly. Take the seat back out and check the gearbox.

Is there anything special I need to do or check for proper seating in there?

Everything seemed to be seated/set properly and the cover closed nice and tight.

Everything that has to do with the seat back pivot/recline is controlled by the gear box with the pink and white gear in it ?

I was thinking there was something in the other gear box that locked the long bow shaped metal flange in a bracket or something.
