My sedan install.

I've been into car audio since I was old enough to have a car. Every vechile I ve had, I've done an install in. This is my install in my e36 sedan.

Components:
Jvc KD-AHD79 with usb for my Iphone (16gb) and bluetooth adaptor.

MB Quart speakers all around.
2 Mb quart 3 way 6x9 s in the parcel shelf
5 1/4 components in the floor kick panels with 1" titanium tweets in the doors and passive cross overs.

3 12" 2ohm dual voice coil Mb quart with led logo'd cones
Memphis 1000.1 @ 1.33 ohms
Memphis 200 watt running the 6x9s
Optima yellow top
2 farad Cap

The 5 1/4 cant been seen behind the kick panels but you can certainly hear them. The 1"titanium tweets went in the Oem location with no modification.

I wanted to allow the 12's to push air through the armrest (skibag) hole from the trunk. It required some modifications and cutting of the wall between, as well as the sound deadening and seperator in the trunk. I finished the edges with rolled leather to match the interior. Everything was remved from the trunk. The hk amp was removed and bypassed using factory wires to each speaker. 50 square feet of fatmat deadening, applied mostly in the trunk, and parcel shelf. I also covered the trucks bottom and the speaker boxes with the same beige material and sprayed the factory grey sides of the trunk interior with beige carpet dye to match.

The result was a very clean and finished look.
The back of the box (amp rack, etc) is not finished yet. I am going to fab a fiberglass curved, dome like cover piece to give it a show car look.

I still have finishing touches to do obviously, but it is 90% complete. This was a SQ build, not for SPL. It sounds amazing. I had to figure out a lot to make it work and bypass the HK 10 speaker system. If anyone needs advice or help concerning ths, I know... having been there. Hope you liked.

Look on the back of the box, left and right of the amp. Thats the cross overs. :)
I ve looked for info on upgrading to a 140 but I m not sure where to get the brackets? Is there a bolt on? Fill me in on that upgrade as I need it, even with a yellow top and cap.
