hey everyone im new on here i want to get into the e36 game and i have a couple m3s on my radar but i cant decide here are the specs of each:

Clean 1997 M3 coupe - well cared for. Just passed smog test and ready for new owner.
Clean Title
116k
Hellrot / Blk
5spd

The interior is very clean 9/10
The exterior is in great condition 8/10
I've owned it for 4 years. I am the 3rd owner.
I've driven it for 11k miles, bought it with 105k.
Accidents - I've never been in any accidents with it. It has a few small dings / cosmetic flaws, nothing major.
Maintenance - I've done all the fluids (synthetic for motor, diff and trans.) and filters and 02 sensors. No records of any previous work.

or....

1997 bmw m3 cosmos black with black leather vader interior it is 5 speed stick shift (not automatic)

everything works fine tranny shifts smooth and engine runs great just passed smog check .

wheels: LTWs 17x7.5 in front 17x8.5 in rear both front and rear have new dunlop dz101 tires just put on in september still has lots of thread

suspension: ISC coilovers fully adjustable damping and camper adjustable

has a sony cd/mp3/aux radio installed and a 10in kicker sub with a jl audio amp

miles : 157k

On October 27 the belts thermostat and coolant was all changed
Always had synthetic oil in her

looking for comment and advice from m3 owners about what to look for and such

price difference is about $400

I'm thinking the first one--lower mileage, complete maintenance. They both look good, though. Check out the pre-purchase checklist.
