If you have $6000 just sitting there you should go buy a M3. Youre going to spend more trying to get that 325 to perform as well as an M3 out of the box. Otherwise put it into a good suspension and start on a turbo project.

Going with Cali on this one. Get an M3. If your hellbent on turbos then look at some of the turbo build threads here they will give you a good idea where to start. I myself am in the process of building out a turbo spec for my 325 but this will be put in a long time from now seeing how I have to get other things done with the car first.

ya i know an m3 is way better but ive been looking in my area and even 1 state after mine (florida) and all the m3 have more than 130k miles , my 325 has only 87k, whts the point on getting an m3 with that high mileage if ill have to replace the engine in lets say 1-2 years, while the 325 will last me much more, dont you think im right?

I agree with the other guys. Look for an M. And you won't be replacing a motor with 130k in 1-2 years. The S52 is pretty stout.

well tomorrow im going to a performance shop cause some guy is selling me some kind of JDM turbo , to c how many pounds it can boost and to c how many a 325i and an M3 can boost , im aiming for maximum power but while not stressing the car and legal to be on the street.

interesting. Well I dont know what laws are in other states but if you live in cali it is ILLEGAL to boost a non boosted car now. Fucking emissions laws..... Do some reseach on what turbo's to get honestly getting a "JDM" turbo from a performance shop shouldnt settle well with you. There is some pretty good info on here about turbos so just look up what turbo types and builds and that should answer your question. As far as how much you can push, you can get 6-8 pounds on stock internals and stock ECU, anything over that your looking at spending quite a bit of money to have a "stable" running car.

Bring you car up north and for 6k you'll get a beautiful turbo setup by me, and of course tuned, then the left overs should be saved for rear tires
