Hello guys, I was told if I make M52 heavily modded engine for more horsepower like turboed and nitrous. It will hurt Vanos... I wonder if its true? Any input could be appreciate, thanks in advance.

Hurt the VANOS? How do you mean, from the extra torque? Sure its possible but i wouldn't consider it a weak spot.

At that range not alot of people are worried about whether its vanos or not. There are plenty of m52's pulling over 500hp and are vanos. I have a friend who owns a shop that just built one. Vanos is not the weak point, a lot of people are just scared of it because they dont understand it. What I really want to know is DO YOU know what it takes to get over 500hp or are you just shooting for the sky because you've played alot of racing games. No insult intended, just seen alot of kids who put turbo and Nitrous in the same sentence and they have no idea what or how either work.
