Here is a little update. The last one i guess. The car was scrapped in september :( I have a lot of good memories from times with the car, so it has been a great companion on the road. I guess i will buy a new E36 as a project in the future, most likely an M3. In that case i will post some info on the forum :) Until then i will enjoy my E46 as much as possible :)

My E36 Project

Long time no see :)

In July i bought a new E36 so i'm back on track with a new project car :) This on is a 93 sedan chassis that i bought without an engine. A new one is installed and i'm planning to use this as a daily winter driver while my E46 is parked for the winter season.

the front is getting new paint, facelift grill , new sidepanels and m-tech bumper. I already have m3 sideskirts but they also need new paint.

Haha... you remind me of my friends...

They all bought bigger BMWs (5 series, 7 series) - but in the end, they all returned to the E36 :P

Well, nice to see you back in the E36 world. Love the blue color. :)

Vel long time no see. The project has been a lot delayed since the engine i bought was scrap and i have suffered from lack of motivation, but hopefully the car will be on the road very soon. A new engine is installed and i have changed most of the parts beneath the car. I'm currently painting the rear axel. I've also changed the dashbord from a gray to a black one. The car looks a bit tacky now, but after some paint it hopefully will look a lot better ;)

The black one is a rusty car i bought for parts. It is now scrapped.

Good News! The DMV here approved my application for installing a turbo in the car to collect around 192 bhp :-) So i'll start buying parts for a turbo install this winter. Are planning to start mounting things next spring when my E46 convertible is out again for the summer season. This will be a cool upgrade. :elmodance

Done some more work. Sandblasted the rear axle and painted it up. Also replaced some of the bushings :)

Salted roads sucks!

It's been some time since my last update. Since last time i've finished the rear undergear and has also mounted adjustable suspention. The front is at the paintshop and hopefully the car will be back on the road next week :) I had to cut out some of the brackets in the floor because i managed to brake 4 of 6 bolts to the rear axle, took me 13 hours to fix :P

This will look a lot better on the car with some paint ;)
