It will only change the sound of the intake. Won't hurt the car though.

Why don't you build a cai!?! Its much cheaper and you get the satisfaction of having something done to your car

Definitely debaffle. I debaffled my airbox and did the golf tee mod to my muffler, and it's a good combination for no cost.

Well, maybe.

I sure don't want to be associated with any group displaying these sensitivities! I just don't remember when I "accepted" the rules that it said anything about racial slurs and poor taste. Correct me if I am wrong.

Of coure, upon reviewing my sig . . . perhaps everyone will be happy that I am gone?

Don't worry about it, I don't expect much from your kind.

No, it's not acceptable behavior. If you won't respect others then don't come back to the Tech. By the way, this is a thread on debaffling the E36 airbox.

I believe this is as much as a racial slurr as using the word "nigga". If an African American gets offended by a white person using the word nigga in a slang term then they themselves are being hypocritical and racist, just for the fact that the black community has turned that into a slang word that would rival our "bro" or "dude". If your going to ban that then you will also need to ban the word gay, fag, and pretty much every other derogitory words that have a different slang meaning. Would this have been different if bimmer and I were both black and he had said that to me? Yes I believe so. My whole point is please don't get offended about a word that wasn't aimed or used in a derogetorty sense because everyone at some point or another does it.
