I bought my e36 and always noticed the carpet behind the passenger seat is soaked and the driver side front capet where your feet go is wet too but the front carpet on the passenger side is bone dry and the carpet behind the drivers side is bone dry it doesnt make sence to me.
Its not the sunroof i checked all 4 drain holes by pouring water into them and they all pour out of the bottom of the car.
Is there anywhere else water could be getting just the carpet behind the passenger and the front carpet on drivers side wet?

I think there's a drain at the firewall that, when clogged, will wet the carpet at the pedals.
Braking wastes momentum.
