Here is a video on how to replace your coolant level sensor. It covers the tools needed and how to remove the sensor without draining the radiator. Take a look and give input where needed.
96 328is automatic, 88 5.0 SSP coupe, 90 5.0 LX

Helpful video. I did this in the past to delete the OBC message "LOW COOLANT LEVEL". The message still shows and I believe I removed a working sensor. Any idea to shut that message off?

The plastic holder probably has the terminals pushed in
Edge one looks like that stupid cube you buy to reset the brake pistons on doo doo cars -Proctor750
